should we expect a full release this year or just a demo? really liking this.

there'll be a demo in a few weeks; need to find the time to finish everything off

most likely something else later this year and a full length in 2012

depending on work/ school/ research/ life commitments

1:08 vocals make me think of Beherit! Awesome.

definitely enjoyed this.

will you be integrating power electronics into this as seemed to be the trend in latter releases with teb?

Survivalist said...

yes, aspects of column of heaven will be more noise oriented than blockade ever was

the demo is largely straight forward though

the last blockade releases can be considered the starting point of column of heaven in the same way that the last shank release was the starting point of blockade

This sounds awesome man. The Ward in this band wouldn't happen to be Jensen Ward would it?

Survivalist said...

that would make monday night practices a little difficult

Survivalist said...

though it would be awesome

Sounds awesome, can't wait for the demo.
On a totally unrelated note: Have hou heard the new Slogun-CD yet and can say if it's worth buying?

Survivalist said...

fuck me dead the new Slogun CD is amazing. I can't stop listening to it

a little different to his usual sound, but it's unmistakably John

that's what I needed to hear. Bloody Roots became a bore so fast I was hesitant on whether or not I should pick up the new disc, but everything I've been hearing has been along the same lines as what you just said, so perhaps it's time I acquire a copy.

I can't help but be extremely impressed with amount of quality material you put out in a short amount of time. I wish I had the work ethic to create that often.

The song took me a bit to get used to, but I really enjoy it now. I especially loved that Death Agonies (and squeems?) video, the vocals really blew me away.
